EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
The Burt County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications
For a Part-Time Emergency Communications Officer.

Applicants may or may not have previous Emergency
Communications training and hold certifications for NLLETS.
Applicants must be 19 years of age, have a high school diploma
And be of good moral character with no felony or serious
Misdemeanor Convictions.
A communications officer is responsible for receiving and dispatching
Emergency and non-emergency law enforcement, fire and rescue
Calls and some clerical tasks. You must have excellent verbal
Communication skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once,
Including the operation of computers and radio equipment.

Hours will be one shift a week that could be nights, weekends, some
Holidays, as well as covering other employees sick & vacation hours
As needed.
