The City of Nebraska City (Pop. 7,300) is seeking applicants for the position of Police Officer. Nebraska Certification is preferred, with wage equitability considered. Certification is not required. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, at least 21 years of age, high school graduate or equivalent and possess, or obtain a valid driver's license.

Applicants must be able to work varied hours, weekends & Holidays. Uncorrected vision no less than 20/200, corrected to 20/20. Free of any felony convictions, or convictions of domestic violence. No DUI convictions within the last two years. Successful candidates must be willing to submit to medical, psychological, fitness and drug screening. Full-time positions with excellent benefits, including uniforms and training provided. Starting pay (Non Certified) is $37,000.00/yr.
